For Shirvan Operating Company at the Kurovdag field, East West Drilling delivered the same technical package: MWD telemetry and drilling fluid services.
Across an interval reaching 3,700 metres, trajectory control relied on real-time measurement: inclination and azimuth readings transmitted by the downhole tool were used to keep the wellpath inside the planned corridor. This approach reduces non-productive time and the need for re-drilling sections.
The drilling fluid service covered management of mud composition and properties across every drilled interval — cuttings transport, wellbore stability and pressure balance were maintained and adapted to field conditions at each stage.
